Lost Dutchman Park Wine Tasting

Join the Friends of Lost Dutchman State Park on April 16, 2016 for a perfect night of wine tasting and food at the foot of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction! This year Lost Dutchman State Park is hosting its third annual Picture Perfect Wine Tasting event complete with raffle drawings, food from the Mining Camp Restaurant, wine from Action Wines and a cheese and salad bar.

This event won’t leave you short of entertainment. Bask in the beauty of the park with music, photo ops, games and a special Dr. Sky show with radio and TV personality Steve Kates.

  • Kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult
  • You may bring lawn chairs to sit in
  • Be sure to wear comfortable clothes
  • Camping spots are available to purchase here
  • Be sure to bring your ID with you
  • No outside alcohol is permitted at the event

Proceeds from this even go back to the park to improve trails and campsites, and to fund educational programs for underprivileged kids.

About Friends of Lost Dutchman State Park

lost dutchman state park logoFriends of Lost Dutchman State Park is a 501c3, nonprofit, all volunteer organization. It was started in 2010 after the park was threatened with closure due to lack of funds. It was because of this organization that the park was saved and they now continue to fund the park and its improvements by raising money, providing camping upgrades and running park programs.

About Mining Camp Restaurant

Since opening in 1961, Mining Camp Restaurant has served a family style BBQ complete with ribs, roast chicken with dressing, oven baked ham and delicious sour dough rolls, raisin bread, baked beans, coleslaw, green beans, and roasted potatoes. All dishes are served on traditional tin platters to complete the experience.
